Elderly Assistance Program

The City of Harlingen's Elderly Assistance Program is a nomination based service designed to assist senior citizens and physically challenged individuals who are unable to maintain their yard.

To be eligible for admission into this program, an applicant must:

     - be 65 years of age or older and live within the City Limits of Harlingen, and
     - disabled, or otherwise physically incapable of taking care of their yard,
     - be on a fixed income
     - reside in the home and not have any immediate family in the City of Harlingen
