Minimum Qualifications to Apply
Education:
High School graduate, or equivalent (GED); or 2 years of military service with an honorable discharge; or have a current certification from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE). Age:
21 years of age and not have reached his/her 45th birthday. Citizenship:
Shall be a United States citizen and must be able to read, write and speak English
Salary Information
Certificate Pay
Intermediate Peace Officer $ 1,200.00 annually
Advanced Peace Officer $ 2,400.00 annually
Masters Peace Officer $ 3,600.00 annually
